Bedtime surprise

Putting the girls to bed the last few months has been a chore. It usually includes several trips back to bed after getting out...yet again! They want to sleep on the couch, in our bed, or not at all. They want drinks or need to go potty. Madee screams so loud I am waiting for the Buckeye PD to knock on my door one night asking if we beat her. On the nights she screams, Madee throws everything out of her bed.
Being that we know bedtime is hard, we start early on Sunday nights. Tonight was not much different, in that sense only. They both didn't want to go to bed as usual. Isabelle began the night crying, wanting to sleep in my bed. After telling her no, the crying...continued. Then she began pounding on the wall. I went in and told her to stop, this made the crying worse. Her crying caused Madee to cry. They were both feeding off each other. Ah how nice it is when they play together.
Realizing they had been quiet for a while, I decided to go check on them. Isabelle fast asleep holding her Simba covered up and looking like an angel. Madee, well, she is another story! While looking on the ground I found out she once again threw EVERYTHING out of her bed. This time was definitely different though, tonight she managed to also take off her pajama pants AND her diaper. That's right, she was naked from the waist down, fast asleep.
Oh goodness, I foresee a long road ahead!

Buckeye Air Show

This past weekend we took the girls to the Buckeye Air Show. Along with us came Uncle Jake, Jonny, and Lily. The kids had a great time looking at all the planes and taking in the atmosphere

Cousins

At Ethan and Elliot's first birthday, the girls had a chance to come together with so many of their cousins. Above are Madee, Isabelle, and Lilly enjoying a birthday cupcake.

When Mommy is away....

Mommy went out for a friend's birthday party and had a great time. When I came home all was quiet; Madee was sleeping and Isabelle was watching a movie. It wasn't until Madee woke up that I realized Daddy may not have been paying as much attention as he needed to...they are both still alive right?????

New Not so Favorite Sayings

Madee who we thought was going to be a slow talker seemed to develop her speaking skills overnight. She went from one word to commands to now telling me, "I ont av eww" (I don't have to) and "I eww it myself" (I'll do it myself). When did my baby grow up? Working at potty training, talking, and doing everything sister wants to do. Next thing I know, she'll be graduating from high school. Okay well I guess I should let her start Kindergarten first!

Hotel for Dogs

About once a month maybe twice, my mom,"Grandma Vicki," takes Isabelle to the movies. This time, today, Isabelle wanted to go see Hotel for Dogs. Isabelle talked about going to th movie so much that Madee decided she wanted to go too. I knew that two girls were too much to handle so Mommy went too. Let's just say that I was happy the theater wasn't full; Madee stayed still through the previews and first 10 minutes of the movie, from there typical toddler. Overall, had a good time; the movie had a great message. Madee won't be making the movie trip again any time soon!
Isabelle will be so upset! :)~
