Thank goodness we didn't die!

Awkward title? Maybe, but I can't tell you how many people were so worried that we were actually going to Rocky Point for Spring Break. What if we died was the most popular question I got anytime I told anyone our plans. As you can see, we are back and had a FANTASTIC time. Thanks Justin and Liz for making it possible.

A lovely Rocky Point sunset, just a small jump away from the trailer...that's right we had a beach front

Madee's party

We had a great time for all who could make it to Madee's party. It was an Elmo bubble party and Madee couldn't have been happier. We were at Kell park next to the library in Buckeye. There were about 15 of Madee's friends who dined on hot dogs and loved the Elmo cake. The weather was a little windy but not too bad nearing 70 degrees. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Just another reminder

Yesterday the fmaily took a hard hit. Brian, my aunt Kimberly's husband died quickly and suddenly of a heart attack. The family is in shock and so many are unsure how to respond. So many people were at the house yesterday just "there" for Kimberly. Our family is pretty dysfunctional, but in times of need, we are there. That is what matters most. He was only 48 and had so much more life to live. We understand that he accepted his calling and is now with God, but it is still so difficult.
Brian worked in the voice over and radio business and had acquired many friends along the way. We were reading the many messages left on his Facebook and were comforted and amazed at just how many lives he touched. He was such an amazing and great person. He always welcomed everyone into the family with loving arms. He was one of the first to make Jarett feel welcome in my CRAZY family. He made us laugh and smile just by being in the room.
He will be GREATLY missed! It is just another reminder of how special life really is.
